Introduction to “Cholesterol and You”
Healthy employees are an asset to any successful organization. Cholesterol is important for maintaining healthy cell function and a healthy heart, yet many employees remain unaware of how the different forms of cholesterol can affect them. Having high LDL, the "bad cholesterol," and low HDL, the "good cholesterol," can promote atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), the major cause of clogged arteries and a significant risk factor for heart attack and stroke.
