Basic Health and Prevention Practices
- Do some form of physical activity and stretching for 30 minutes daily;
- Eat more fresh fruit and vegetables for better health and performance;
- Maintain a healthy weight;
- If you drink caffeine and alcohol, do so in moderation and drink plenty of water;
- Avoid smoking;
- Take time to relax every day and get enough sleep each night;
- Use a yearly health screening to check your progress on improving basic health, and;
- Be a wise health care consumer. Establish an open line of communication with your health care provider (doctor) or utilze a self-care handbook or website.

NEW WEIGHT WATCHERS AT WORK BEING FORMED NOW!

A new 17 week session of Weight Watchers at Work is being formed right now at the Government Center. Join us on Wednesday, March 30 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm in the Asilomar Room on second floor for an open house and informational session to find out how this proven program can impact your health and your life.
The new session starts on April 6 and includes weekly sessions and 19 weeks of Weight Watchers e-tools (a $61 value) for $186 or only $10.94 per week.
