Divisions
Monterey County Behavioral Health is engaging in a strategic planning process to review current services and consider possible improvements. The main objectives for the strategic plan
1. Recognize what is done well;
2. Understand what improvements are needed;
3. Identify issues and trends impacting service delivery; and,
4. Collect recommendations to be used for the Fiscal Year 2014-15 Budget Process and Mental Health Service Act/Quality Improvement planning.

Supported Housing |

Strategic planning will include examination of the system(s) of service delivery ranging from prevention and early intervention to treatment and aftercare.
Staff, community partners and clients are invited to attend strategic planning sessions for any of the areas above.

For each Service Area group, we are forming a workgroup to review data and conduct a SWOT analysis. A SWOT analysis is an extremely useful tool for understanding and decision-making for all sorts of situations in organizations. SWOT is an acronym for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats.
