Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) Services

CLPPP provides services to the community to increase awareness of the hazards of lead exposure, reduce lead exposure, and increase the number of children assessed and appropriately blood tested for lead poisoning.

CLPPP provides information and education to the general public, medical providers, and community-based organizations. A public health nurse provides home visitation and case management. A registered environmental health specialist conducts home investigations and follow-up to assure that environmental sources of lead are remediated.
